The Greater Metropolitan Association of Realtist, GMAR is the 111th Local Chapter of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB) located in Montgomery County, Maryland. It is affiliated with NAREB Region IV, comprised of several chapters in the Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia area.

GMAR is an association of committed and influential real estate brokers, real estate agents and professionals, also serving as a think tank that advocates for equity in all disciplines within the real estate industry, promoting Democracy in Housing.

GMAR was founded by Nichelle McDuffie Hagins and during its inaugural ceremony at the Maryland State House in Annapolis, Maryland on February 17, 2020 GMAR received from the Maryland House of Delegates the House Resolution, offering congratulatory recognition of our dedication with promoting equal housing opportunities for all with the sponsorship of Delegate Pamela E. Queen.
